Christi McDonald, MS, LPC

I follow a positive, nonjudgmental, and acceptant attitude toward whatever you are experiencing and will facilitate your self discovery with respect and compassion. It is my goal to help people in discovering their internal locus of control or the extent to which they believe that they have the power over current situations. I love assisting people in creating the changes that they would like to see in their lives.
I utilize a client centered talk therapy along with cognitive behavioral therapy. I enjoy giving my clients the tools they need to maneuver through life mentally strong. During most of my therapeutic experiences with children and adolescents, I have been able to use my training in play therapy and incorporate art during talk therapy. I also have training and experience in group settings, anger management, working with veterans and geriatrics.
Please call or email if you have any further questions or would like to set up an initial appointment. I would love to hear from you!

About

Jessica Clough, LCSW

I’m a licensed clinical social worker. I began my career working with veterans,
first responders, and their families. I still work closely with this population
today, and I also work with civilians. I have experience working with complex
trauma and many forms of addiction. I have experience addressing PTSD,
anxiety, depression, OCD, addictive behaviors, adults that have experienced
physical, emotional, and psychological abuse, and adults that have
unresolved childhood trauma.
I’ve helped veterans work through combat/military trauma/civilian life stressors
and first responders manage stressors in their career and other areas of life. I
understand narcissism, and help people understand and heal from narcissistic
abuse. I also work with teens between age 15-17 years old.
I have a client centered, attachment based approach. I’m trained in Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated
Resolution Therapy (ART), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I truly
have a passion helping others, and it is my hope to be able to stand by you
while you are on the journey of becoming who you want to be.

Starting now, you can begin a brand new journey toward a more positive path for yourself – one that’s filled with growth, well being, acceptance, and empowerment.
